In the wake of the Gnomish inventor, Tefka, and his malicious machine, a large explosion erupts from over the Bakuran Mountain, shaking the Grove to its core. In the coming nights, a thick layer of ash and soot fall over the Grove, and with it, a feeling of dread. Soon, word reaches the Grove that trade caravans coming through the Bakuran Pass are going missing, leaving nothing but scorch marks to suggest their last location. On this night, as the sun sets over the great mountain, it is met with the sounds of drums….. and the smell of fire.
